Advice for storing backdrops

It may have been covered before but I'm after advice for storing cotton sheet type backdrops so they don't crease?

I would imagine on rolls such as cardboard carpet style rolls would be a great option so long as the space was available

I keep ours stored on the roll which it came on from the shop. We bought from the range and it was the last of the material they had left so asked if we could keep the cardboard tube pop a couple of elastic bands round. boom done.
