Wow, that is interesting. Wonder how long that will take to filter into the market. It will mean that much more of photography will be about the processing side of things than the actual taking of the shot.

It's a bit like focus stacking, but it takes pics (with multiple lenses) at different ranges and positions all at once rather than in sequence. It doesn't really go into heavy detail though so there is probably more to it than just that, along with limitations that aren't mentioned.
