Has anyone upgraded from PS CC to the photographer's bundle before your 12 months with the initial cloud sub is over? I'm wondering whether the £8 a month is a total cost or it is an additional cost as it doesn't make it that clear on the subscriptions page. Does the original PS CC sub carry on until you end it so you'll effectively have 2 licences for PS??

If it's a standalone thing and it means I get more for half the money then it is a bit of a no brainer... but my 12 months isn't up until August so I have no idea what will happen. Being a cynic I'm assuming this offer will disappear when it get into the last month or two of my 12 months...hence wondering whether to get it now.

I don't use lightroom so I wouldn't pay £25 ish in total for PS and Lightroom. I'd pay £8 a month for PS CC....

Sudden thought. If I have the photographer's bundle then I could have premier as well as the single app as I'd pay £25 a month for premier and PS CC.... I'm wondering what buggeration will be needed to achieve it though!

Upgraded it and it replaces the single app sub and starts a new 12 month deal so that saves a few months on the sub. Wish I'd noticed sooner....

Just got to work out how you add another single app sub as I think there is some silly limitation with the adobe system that stops you doing it easily.

Looks like they've made the deal so the photographer's bundle is for everyone not just those that already have a qualifying application. Adobe clearly realise it is wise to trap as many of us as possible in one fell swoop ;)

I'd only ever tried Lightroom on a couple of trials in the past, but I'm a real convert. I can do stuff in there in half the time of my previous Raw converters, I'm probably not getting the best out of it because I still have a legacy workflow in PS, it'll probably take me a year or so to convert to thinking in Lightroom rather than my quirky hybrid workflow.
