Yes
Not heared much on the new CS6 as of yet, I know there's been a few beta's knocking around. Wondered if any of you chaps/ladies got hold of a copy to try?

I'm using the beta, it seems very good, I like the darker UI, it seems quick, lens corrections work well (and will work better when all bodies are enabled). Glad I didn't push the button on CS5 yet.

Note if you are on anything below CS5 and you want to upgrade, you will have to pay the full price for CS6. Current CS5 users only qualify for the upgrade price.

Apart from they changed their mind and decided to let people with as far back as CS3 upgrade but only for a limited time.

Ive got it, like the new interface and the whole single window thing, wasn't a massive fan of seperate frames

Right, I'm gonna download it tomorrow... well tonight!

I never had a single problem with my Beta, and it works seamlessly with LR4.

If you have bought CS5 whilst the beta has been announced or in fact within a short time Adobe will give you a free upgrade when it is released. there is a whole part of there site explaining it in the FAQ.

As for cs5 vs CS6 there is not a lot of great difference between the 2 however it has been dubbed cs5 on Steroids it runs a lot smoother and quicker it has some useful tools I love the oil painting filter (all though that is available on CS5 under pixel bender which is a free download from adobe labs.

The content aware tools are hugely improved. However I would prefer it if it created it on a duplicate layer so you could blend it better however if you do it on a duplicate layer then the problem is solved.

Vector tools are great so is the new liquify tool much better. The stroke path which they have bought over from illustrator is a real improvement and cant believe they waited til cs6 to bring in this feature.

animation is improved and now works in 64 bit.

The 3d tools I have not explored much but seem a lot stronger however I use 3d applications.

Have you seen the de-Blurring tool adobe is working on....AMAZING if it works like on the video demos

CS6 looks great but not worth th cost to upgrade from CS5

the deblurring tool is looking good however it is not as it is being promoted. it will only work with camera movement not your everyday blurred pics.

I have always upgraded as it works out cheaper than if you dont upgrade each time cs3 to cs4 to cs5 upgrade worked out cheaper than if I went from cs3 to cs5. I would however stress that if you do not count on adobe products or need every new tool then you really do not need to upgrade to the latest products.
