Adobe CS5 " merge to HDR Pro" problems

i am running CS5 on my laptop and never had any issues until now.. i have tried to use "Merge to HDR Pro" using 5 x bracketted photos and for some reason it just doesnt want to do it ?

it goes through the process and then just blips out and returns to the blank grey CS screen ?

im wondering if my laptop doesnt have enough RAM?

any computer wizz out there who can help ??

Does it let you merge 3 photos?
 
how long have you left it for ? It might still be processing them
 
i have tried 2, 3 and 5 photos ! and left it for ages it just wont do it
 
Cs5 is heavier on resources than the older models, what spec is your pc? and what size raw files are you trying to merge?
 
my files average about 14mb each
laptop is intel core 2 duo CPU and running 4 gb memory .. so should be enough .. i will try on desk top when i go home from cornwall end of week see if thats is any better
 
i am using the 32 bit one on my laptop ... its really frustrating as everything else works fine :-(
