Adobe Creative Cloud Photography Plan, Lightroom question

I bought Lightroom last year when it was still available to purchase as an individual product (not sure if it still is?!) - will buying the photography plan, and therefore downloading another Lightroom, affect the one I already have? Or will it just not download?

You'll download and install, the latest version of LR, which will still be able to use your catalog, preferences, etc. LR will then update, as long as you are subscribed, to the creative cloud.
