Adobe Camera Raw vs Photoshop?

I have Photoshop CS5 for all my PP and just wondered which program you use to edit your images - either in Adobe Camera Raw or in Photoshop?
I find I do a little tweaking in ACR but the majority gets done in PS.

What do you do?

If I am shooting RAW it goes through ACR first. If I'm shooting JPEG I usually go straight to PS.

There is a rule that I try to follow: everything that can be done in ACR should be done in ACR...and you can do a lot in there!

It's not a 'versus' situation. Two different pieces of software for different jobs.

All my images go through Lightroom 2 (same engine as ACR, but different in other ways). Images that I want to adjust further go from there into PS CS4.

90% of my processing gets done in ACR - pretty much only the final sharpening is added in PS.

It's recommeneded by the "experts" that as much processing as possible is carried out in ACR
