Hi everyone

I have just redone my website and would massively appreciate some feedback on it.

www.freddieridge.com

I have changed the galleries to just 4, and cut down on photos in them. So would really some help on the following:

* I have split galleries geographically - think this is the right way to do it?
* Are there are any weak galleries/ photos you think should go?
* What do you think to the layout?

Also would love any other feedback/ improvements - please slate it as much as possible!

Thanks
Freddie

Just had a look and you've some stunning landscapes Freddie
the Scotland ones are sublime !

Hi Fred,

I like they layout of the site. It is fast and I can choose which pictures I want to see.

The pictures are great, the only thing I would say is if you can make the box under About me a bit wider so the words fit and also may be have one line spacing after each paragraph.

Thanks

As far as i can see he dosen't

I don't see any tab or link that says "download" myself, unless i'm missing something. I can see that you can view the XL size of image, and for that reason i'd think about putting a watermark on them to stop people enlarging and screen capturing them. (I know, this won't stop that actually happening but it might let people know that it's not encouraged).

I like the info button, i can spend hours looking through exif data looking at how photos are taken and it frustates me when people on flickr restrict it so good move on that one.

Apart from that, there's not much to declare!

The post processing on your scotland pics is really cool, all your landscapes are incredible well done.

Fantastic photographs and a nice quick website.

Thanks - have been trying to work this out

Why do you allow high resolution downloads

Thanks, didnt realise I had left this on for one of the galleries - have fixed this now

Thanks for the kind comments, agree on looking at exif info!

I was thinking of getting rid of the Nepal gallery - what do you think?

The 'about me' box is the width it is, because you have an inline style setting it to 750px wide. (I think but can't be sure).

However, it's an image, not text, and that image is certainly only 750px wide.
