Actor George Cole has died

Very sad, a brilliant actor. He was great in his 1st film Cottage to Let, but obviously perfect as Arthur. Great talent.

Flash harry was the first I saw him in the st trinnians films.. watched every episode of minder more than once... currently on sky.. always on sky i guess...

What a shame, how very sad. First Cilla this week and now George. I always wanted him to pair up with David Jason. I think his Arthur Daily character and Delboy would make an excellent combination playing each other off. RIP George.
 
I must admit that I had no idea he was that age!

yep, Blue murder at st Trinians (for example) ewas shot in 1957 (I was the tender age of 3 then) with GC as Flash Harry, the spiv alongside other actors now departed such as Joyce Grenfell, Terry Thomas, Terry Scott and Richard Wattis

At my age lots are starting to fall off the perch ..................... good friends, family, mates and old work colleges ............. on the one hand it's natural on the other I can't really understand it ....... really depressing especially when they are in their 60's, (thank God most arn't)
