 Been going through last weekends karate pictures and at this rate, will still be doing them next weekend when next tournament is upon us. So I have a question - due to not wanting to shoot above iso 800 despite the awful light and having to keep shutter speeds up, all the pictures need some adjustment. I have found the perfect adjustment which is basically upping the temperature and exposure the same amount on every shot. This is easier to do in ACR than CS3 for me, as I am not sure how to up the temp in CS3 to get the WB just as i want it, but that means doing each shot individually. So the question is this, is there a way to set actions in ACR? I know there is a presets tab, and when I click on the little new icon, it opens a window, but after that it doesnt seem to do much

try adobe lightroom you can batch edit a picticular set up and will save you loads of time

did you shoot the shots with AWB or did you use a preset say cloudy or daylight. ?.

The easiest way in ACR is to just open all the images in ACR at the same time then select all. And adjust the exposure up or down your required amount ie 0.5 stop, then all your images will be increased 0.5 stop.
White balance is just as easy if you shot them under a set value. If you didnt just adjust all of them by the same then have a quick scan through them individually adjusting the ones that look slightly out, its a lot quicker than you think.
It can be done in CS3 but is a little harder.

I hope i understood what you want to do.

There is a way, once you have adjusted the image as you want it all you do is save those settings. The way to this is to first click on the small icon which has 3 horizontal line and a small arrow.

then once the drop down menu appears select save settings, another window will then open up just select save on this one. You then need to give it a name and save it to a folder of your choice.

To load the newly created raw preset you just click on the small icon which has 3 horizontal line and a small arrow again but this time select load settings, then point to the folder you save the preset you just created.

Hope this helps
