ACR 7.1

Don't have a Mac, but should the update not install automatically when you open the program then go to Help then Updates.

You can do that, but just above the download button it says:-

"For Photoshop CS6 and Creative Suite 6 customers, we recommend that you install Camera Raw 7.1 by selecting Updates from the Help menu and follow the on-screen dialogs to download and install the latest available Camera Raw update."

That is exactly what I did with PS Elements a couple of weeks ago and it was completely uncomplicated.
 
Personally, I just let Adobe download manager deal with updates for all my Adobe applications ... no problemo :geek:
