Hi guys
I've got an old version of this program (v8) and I've always been with it since the classic version of donkey years ago. Love it for viewing photos.
But now just as I'm getting into photography, I'm finding all the options bewildering. I just wanted to check my holiday photos (I'd been taking several shots of the same thing to see the effects of aperture and exposure compensation etc) but the EXIF info pane has about 40 different things written in it. I want to view the basic stuff quickly, not spend 5 minutes looking down to list of colorspaces and saturations.

So can anyone who uses the latest version (v14?) tell me if the software lets you simplify/customize this info a bit or even let you highlight things in the EXIF list so you can see what you want quickly?

Cheers.

Click on the Properties File Tab then select the File Tab and all your basic Metadata is at the bottom.

You can specify exactly what data is shown there by going to Tools > Options and changing it there.

Thanks , I didnt know about bottom panel shown.

Thank you for taking time to post and explain this Paul :) I've messed with the settings and actually now prefer seeing the File tab info rather than Exif tab as it gives a nice summary

Cheers :)
