Its been discontinued......Its been the best selling model for ages, so I suppose it was due but I had no clue. So its replacement is the 620. Does anyone have one of these here and can give some feedback....I need it for a gig on Thursday so whatever info you have will be a help..

Any other printers I should consider?

I want to print 6 x 4 and 6 x 9 mainly and would like to choose matt or gloss from same media but thats about it.

Thanks.

This is the replacement for it, I discovered the same at the weekend...

What do you think?

Looking like a DS40 S/H or this, the used DS40's could have been hammered? not sure if there is a meter on them or anything, but there will be no warranty.

Looks like I am gonna be an early adopter, I am not a fan of getting brand new kit out without it being well tested.

I would start with two used DS40 rather than one new. When doing things live you need a plan b for everything. You can get a print count off these if you are worried but they are built to different standards. I have a Mitsi 9550 that Is about a decade old, works perfectly and still loads of people selling media. These things are built to last
