Hi i have acquired some old jpeg files and they all have ABC trial 4 logo in the corner is there a way to remove this without cropping regards

No! The information behind the logo is lost, so you could remove the logo but it would leave a hole. You could try to clone stuff in from elsewhere in the shot.
