Contemplating the a65 as an upgrade, looking through all the stats it's a good buy, but as my primary workflow is all flash based, won't the EVF work against me, especially If I have a low light scenario where I'm lighting someone?

Yes i have wondered the same if using a flash. Will the evf not take into consideration the flash, so gives you a representation of the image without the flash which will be nothing? Surely there is some feature to counteract this?

Just done some more research and it said there is a setting for the EVF to switch it from actual view to exposure settings view.... Thank god for that!

Good i thought it must be something!

In the menu you use Setting Effect Off.

I use my A77 in manual with studio flash just fine.
