Can anyone recommend a supplier for an A4 (or similar) landscape photo book?

Doesn't need to be anything fancy, need not be lay flat. Looking for something budget, as long as it has decent enough print quality.

Who do you use?

I've used the Aperture books from Apple and have been pleased with them for the costs. I've also bought more expensive ones and been disappointed as the quality wasn't quite as good.

I'm reasonably certain you can only get the Apple ones if you use Aperture, but I may be wrong!

I've also been pleased with Cewe books

I got some Apple photobooks for Christmas, and was a bit disappointed with the quality of the paperback books. They had more the feel of a pamphlet than a book, but it was only yhe minimum 20 pages. In the past we got a Jessops photo book (probably CEWE?); the end result was fine, but their layout software was carp, and it took 3 goes to get everything right (some pics would end up in the wrong place in the printed version, very frustrating).

Everyone seems to speak well of Blurb, but I've not used them.

Cewe looks good, but don't like the sound of their software being innacurate. Will take a look at blurb too.

Cheers.

Albelli books are nice, I upgraded to better paper, I'm sure they do a landscape lay flat book

Photobox insiders club has up to 100 page A4 personalised photobooks from £24.98 but credit has to be purchased by midnight tonight!

...also upgrade to A3 photobook for an extra £9.99....

What are photobox like these days? Last time I tried them years ago they were quite hit and miss.
I remember they auto-enhanced every image and there was no option to ask them not to, is that still the case?

Avoid like the Plague, is my advice- they still auto correct everything, I had some really nice sunset shots and they ruined them with auto correct, I deliberately exposed to make the most of the colours, came back looking nothing like the original I submitted, made a complaint to no avail

Just my 10p's worth - rant over

I use these people now

Looks like there have been several version updates in the CEWE/Jessops software since I used it in 2012/13, so it may be fine...

I sent an email off to crewe asking prices (they give ftarting from prices ont heir website, but no mention of costs for additional extras) but so far have not heard back.

I have heard good things about blurb in the past, and they are no more expensive than photobox! Plus their software seems easy enough to use, so have starting building a book with them. Unless I get anything back from Crewe soon and they are significantly cheaper I reckon I will run with blurb.

A friend of mine recommended Blurb to me for photo books, I've played around with their software and it's very easy to use, just haven't got around to ordering yet so can't personally comment on the print side yet.
