Plans are afoot for the 3rd running of this project in Faversham, a small brewery town in East Kent on the A2 between Sittingbourne and Canterbury.
But for 2011, the project will also be running in Canterbury and the Isle of Sheppey.

The project has been an excellent way of bringing local photographers together to capture and record the life of the town.
The AYITL of Faversham in 2009 culminated in the presentation of an exhibition at the September 2010 Hop Festival with over 4000 visitors.
An empirical observation is that following the exhibition our camera club has grown from approx. 45 members to over 70 members this season and although I have no evidence to support this I suspect a large proportion of this new membership is a result of the exhibition, either as participting photographers or as visitors.
The first project involved 52 photographers who submitted approximately 1400 photographs taken between 1st July 2007 to 30th June 2008, so if you think it's too late to organise something for January 1st you could always split your year up.
