North England A week in berwick upon tweed

Hi all, have booked the family in for a week at the haven camp there. Never been to this area before so wondering whats around so will hopefully make me decide what kit to take. Will have to rely on public transport or just good old legs to get us around!

I remember spending a week there as a teenager with my parents 40yrs ago, Seals in the harbour and salmon fishermen I remember from the time.

You could get a bus out to Holy Island for the day - be careful you check the tides first though or you may get stuck

Berwick has some remaining part of The Berwick Walls and of course there are the three bridges, two road one rail....

I went to school in Berwick!

Thanks both, that old bridge makes a nice pic. I have found out that we could day return to edinburgh for about £20 on the train, so that's one day sorted.
Holy Island sounds good.
Wonder if I can get a star trail in anywhere?
