It would be very helpful if anyone could give some feedback on a new website I have been playing around with thanks to LRG
Personally im really liking it although there are some constraints.

Anyway, thanks in advance, and here is the new site..
I realise its flash so im not really worried about the 'why flash' answers because I know all the problems associated with it :)

personally 1. i don't like the grey bars at the top and bottom of the screen and 2. not liking the full screen thing, i think you should have a specific size in mind for the site.

Love this template, think it's great. Like the layout, just needs more text. Might look more striking against a lighter background? Possibly.

Hi,
Not a lot of alterations available for this Lightroom template, i've tried using it before, i needed to sell some photos quickly and set it up as a quick fix/short term solution.

Does the job of selling images well, especially with the built in google/paypal shopping cart extensions.

But, from a search engine point of view, pretty crappy!

I'd say, a good solution for a photo shopping cart, not so good for show casing your work.

Nice photos though :)

Contrary to some of Justins comments above, I think LRG3 has a lot of potential. I'm currently building my own website around LRG3 and have most of it set up.

I'm surprised you haven't used the side bar to showcase your images. I think its a great way to categorise and showcase your work. and I now use it to upload my images, password protect the gallery and allows clients to log in to view their images.

You've got the option to have a slideshow of your work on each page (ie, Portraits etc). One main benefit LRG has over other websites is that it integrates into Lightroom with ease and makes updating the site, very easy.

I'm not clued up on the google aspect, but for me, as most if not all of my work is word of mouth, I've had a lot of people comment how well the site works and that it looks great. First impressions last.. as they say :)
