Basically while my daughter was at nursery they did letters of the week, and i always sent her with a photo or 2 of things which began with the letter of the week. My daughter has now finished nursery and will be going to a different school in September. So as they said they will miss having photos i have decided to make an a to z selection for them, and as a little thank you too, I have a few already but i cant find all the files, so am starting more or less fresh. So if my mind goes blank I may call on you for simple ideas for a specific letter, im going to use this thread to help myself keep track of what i have.

Here is what I have so far,

Thanks very much for taking time to view these, it's very much appreciated.

I think that's a wonderful idea Michael . . . unfortunately for some reason the link doesn't work for me, but I'd really like to see these.
Try putting them directly into the thread.

Good luck with the project - this is a lovely gift to the nursery and sounds like a rewarding exercise in all sorts of ways.

p.s. I wish you an extra slice of luck for when you get to "X" ;)

You've given me an excellent idea for when I go back to school in September. I'm going to ask My Reception class kids to get their parents to take a photograph of the letters I'll teach each week (3 per week). I reckon I could get a bit of competition going between the parents, especially if I put them on the class Internet portal page.

hi all, thanks for the comments so far, especially with my daughter, this made a great talking point in the nursery. The teachers loved the idea of photos, and it certainly helps get the children involved in many different things too. Going to have a go at posting images in this thread from flickr.

Ok embedding from flickr not working, will have to resort to photobucket.
