I quite like the 2nd although (and this is likely my screen) the bottom is just a little too dark - could you lower the contrast? :shrug:
[I also think your "watermark" is a bit too strong - can you "fade" it a bit?]
As for the first one, I dunno - the left looks a bit dark - could you mirror the background so the dark image is on the light brick, and the lighter images are on the darker brick? :shrug:

Indeed all very useful stuff. The logo is a work in progress and it is overpowering at the mo!
The second shot is from Hipstamatic and styled by the same prog - I am planning to do lots more with it but I think you are spot on - it needs exposure tweaks in lightroom after.

I love the second, especially since its from a phone!
I'm not sure about the display of the first three, although it does look nice I think having the background as such a bright image takes away a lot of the focus from the actual photos.

Good to see you starting up a project again - hope it helps you to get your inspiration back.
I seem to remember you doing something similar to the first one in your 52 . . . and I think this version is FAR better.
There's something very appealing about the PP in these, even if they are everyday objects.
I have to agree with the earlier comments about the background though. The DoF on the wall isn't really working for me. I would have preferred it either consistently sharp or consistently blurred as a background image.
Absolutely love the second shot.
The PP suits it perfectly, but it's the textures and lighting / shadows that really make it for me. For a phone photo it's very damn impressive

Thanks Jack. I must admit - the more I come back to it the more I don't like the BG! I think it will get the chop and I will try a white bg to juxtapose the darker main content.

Thank you Sarah! You are awesome at providing feedback. It is another angle you have found on the BG - and one I will use on my next walkabout - I think I was going for the angle to make a mundane wall a bit more appealing but with such shallow dof it makes for a confusing on the eye BG. As for the second it took a bit of thought - but the result was pretty mod/retro and I am happy with it.
Two very different PP shots - and I guess it is testament to you TPers that you picked the one that I put more thought into the shot itself (no2) to like more. Hmmm - lesson - not the gear but the eye.

Love the framing, and the capture of the reflection as well as the bird!
Only minor niggle that I can't quite pin down is that my eye is somehow drawn away (not sure by what) from the heron itself - is it too small/tucked away in the picture? :shrug:
