Bit of a long shot but is anyone aware of a UK forum where queries are answered by Three UK reps? I've been having issues with the quality of the 3G signal on my phone in the Republic of Ireland, which I frequently visit - and had gathered a significant amount of data to post on an Irish forum where Three reps deal with such issues, but having done that, they are now telling me that they can't access my account to check what the issue is, since my provider is Three UK (not Three Ireland).

I know there's always customer services, but they are usually a PITA to deal with....

They don't have one, your best bet would be to tweet them @ThreeUKSupport and then use DM to give them the info.

I do know that data speeds are VERY low when roaming onto an overseas network, which 3 Ireland is. I've used my iPhone a lot in New York and Spain, both of which are "Feel At Home" countries, as is the ROI, and in every case upload and download speed is very slow. Being able to roam overseas at no monetary cost is great, but the connection is always slow.

Norway wasn't too bad a couple weeks ago. Okay it was not the best and only 3G but we were in the Fjords :D

I've always found it fine for email, news apps, instagram etc. But watching videos for example was impossible. Both in the USA and España.

I didn't expect this level of response - thanks. At least I know I'm not alone! They must throttle the roaming speed then.

Yeah possibly but Feel at Home is the only reason I moved to Three from giffgaff and even at the reduced speeds it's superb for someone like me - living in Northern Ireland but in Dublin regularly with work and in Donegal every other weekend for leisure.

It's an amazing offer. To be able to use your allowance in so many overseas destinations is just awesome.

Yeah I agree although I'd prefer if they were just upfront about the throttling of the speeds. Not a huge issue for me when I'm in Donegal as I usually use a 3G Dongle with a PAYG phone sim - top up €20 a month and you get unlimited data - which is not throttled and allows use of Netflix etc. Just couldn't figure out why my phone connection was so damned slow...
