I bought an item online and was surprised but also impressed when it arrived today.

It was dispatched by the seller at 3:15pm yesterday and arrived at about 11:30 this morning.

Not bad for a road distance of 670 miles, even as the crow flies it is a bit over 500miles.

I dont have a problem with them, of course things will go wrong bearing in mind the amount they ship but last issue I had was over 12 years ago and an Recorded Delivery item that was a week late!

My postie is also very good
 
They are 1 for 2 on the week.

Packet of paper delivered impeccably on time. They didn't even bend it.

Parcel worth about £50 also delivered on time but to somebody who has a different door mat from me... Nice socks in the picture though.
 
Not sure whether their effort today is good or bad. Having arranged to pick up the parcel they failed to deliver a couple of days ago from the PO in town, my wife was told that it was out for delivery... At least it did actually arrive!
 
I'm waiting on a Special D item sent last Monday from London. An eBay purchase which looks like it's gone missing . My second Special D item that's gone missing in the last couple of years.
 
I sent a parcel 2nd class the other day. It arrived the next day. Makes me wonder how quickly a first class one would’ve got there.

Same here, 2nd class posted yesterday arrived today.

One thing puzzles me though, you get carded because they try to deliver during normal working hours.
So why does the sorting office only open during those times too?

RM have managed to lose the last three parcels I sent to Ukraine. According to the tracking, two of them never left the post office I mailed them from (

That's what happened to my Special D parcel earlier this month - no sign of it
 
I find RMSD usually pretty good, few delays due to the strikes and one late delivery last week, delivered 1 day late so claimed refund on RM site and got a cheque for full refund 3 days later
