A recipe for the chocoholics

A work colleague made this and brought it in..... all I can say is that it's scrummy (and quite sickly if you eat too much in one go....... or so I'm told :embarrassed: )

Anyway, here's the recipe (and no cooking involved )

Malteser Cake

85g Butter
2 Tablespns golden syrup
2 Tablespns cocoa powder
170g Digestives, crushed
175g Maltesers, most crushed, some left whole

Melt the butter and golden syrup in a pan. Stir in the cocoa powder, digestives and crushed maltesers. Cool slightly then stir in the whole maltesers.

Line a 1lb loaf tin with clingfilm and pack in the mixture.

Chill until set.

I have really got to try that! I had a friend at uni who use to come back with a whole tin of "Mars Bar Cake" that his nan made. Was the best cake in the world! But this sounds just as good

Well, I made my Malteser cake..mmmmmm. Just off for a lovely hot soak in the bath with some girly pamper type stuff and my piece of choccy stodge..
