A real J R Hartley moment.....

One of my other interests is amateur radio; i've be licensed since 1982, but have only recently taken up the hobby again. About 25 years ago I wrote a book on a particular aspect of the hobby, published by The Radio Society of Great Britain. I managed to lose my only copy, either during a house move, or maybe I lent it to somebody and forgot about it.

Anyway, I was looking through a used book store for something else and came across a copy. I couldn't believe it.... The oldTV advert of J R Hartley looking for his Fly Fishing book came to mind. So I ordered it and hopefully this time I'll not lose it!

Years back a then GF sent a poem of mine off somewhere and it was published. I've never seen it. I wonder if I ever will. I don't know if she got paid for it, I never saw any money
