The 70-200mm f2.8 IS II USM, has been at the top of my must have lens list for quite a while now and I'm finally finding my funds creeping close enough to buy it which for me is incredibly exciting, I've found a couple of websites which offer said lens for what I would consider, as a synical and sceptical Englishman insanely good prices in this once case below, some £700-800 cheaper than Amazon UK, so naturally I'm wondering if this legit, and also if any of my fellow toggers have any experience of these website.

Any help or advice with websites to go to, or prior experience of any of the following sites would be greatly appreciated. Thanks for your time.

That site is related to the 'Yorkshire Cameras' etc scam sites that come out of Latvia.....

Hi Graham, just to confirm are you saying both of them are connected to the "Yorkshire Cameras" scam sites or just the online-technology one?

I just had a luck and with those prices I am 99.999999999% certain it's a case of "too good to be true". I wouldn't touch either with a barge pole.

Just the first one, the second is an American site.....

Second one also looks a little fishy, no contact details, no address and a brand new 2011 website.

Even on the off chance of being legit, if it is a genuine US site, you would need to factor duty and vat into their price..

Wouldnt buy from either site.

I'd say anything being sold at less that kerso sells it at is likely to be dodgy or they'll say it's in the uk then when it's delivered it'll come from hong kong with a £300 bill attached
