Does anyone know what hot shoe flash would be ok for use on a Voigtlander VF101? I've done the google thing but I can't find anywhere that gives me an answer.

Thanks

Andy

Any will do Andy - it's usually only an issue if you put a film-specific flash on a dijikal camera though because the higher trigger voltages can toast delicate electronics.

Arthur

PS - meter away, added a couple of films for you to play/practise with :D

As Arthur says, and old time flash will do. Its a basic flash system, so no TTL, therefore no need for any dedicated flash.

Thanks guys, very helpful as usual. Any suggestions as to a reasonably priced flash?

Oh, and thanks Arthur very generous.

How about a Vivitar 283 or 285 from eBay ?

Lots of bits available.

Prinz 600C - perfect.

Andy, I got a Sunpak SP140 to use with my Konica S2 only paid .99p and works a treat up to 16/20feet, Sunpak do a whole range at this level from standard manual to Auto flash all very cheap on fleebay. The good thing also is that they have the sync cable built in to the back of the flash. Yes that Vivitar looks good.
