I'm looking for a tele zoom to use on a Z7. It's for my occasional attempts at photographing birds. I'm only likely to be using the centre of the frame, so a DX lens would do. The short list comprises the
NIKKOR Z DX 50-250mm f/4.5-6.3 VR or the
AF-P DX NIKKOR 70-300mm f/4.5-6.3G ED VR (I already have an FTZ adapter)
Quite simply - which is optically better, particularly at the longer end? Any other reason for preferring either?
Any advice welcomed.
