A little help please!

I have registered to upload images to Alamy, but they require the files to be in the following format.

RGB, not CMYK images.
High-quality JPEG files (level 10 or above in Photoshop).
Bit depth of 8 bits/channel.
Minimum uncompressed file size of 48MB.
Maximum compressed file size of 25MB.
Alpha-numeric file names ending in ‘.jpg’.

I have been taking photos in RAW and can't seem to save the files in the correct format even though I am using PS. The error message that come up is rejected uncompressed size less than the minimum size.

Any help appreciated.

Thanks Matty, but that thread was August 2006 they have changed their procedure. What was interesting was the increasing the size of the file in PS. Hows that done then? I have spent so long trying to compress images for the web that it has never occurred to me to increase the size.

Like I say, I've never done it, is there a restriction on the actual size of the image? (not the size of the file)

Simmo you have to upsize (interpolate) your images)to make them reach the 48mb size. You can do it in PS using the Bicubic method. ( Bicubic Smoother) IIRC ( I don't use PS) There are also dedicated programmes for upsizing images, Genuine Fractals is one, Alien Skin is another.

Do your upsizing from the TIFF to reach the file size, then save as a jpeg as per their instructions.

Have a good look at the 48mb image at full size and check for any dust bunnies. They'll reject the lot if they find any. Be very critical of the look of the 48 mb image at 1:1, particularly if you've cropped at all. If in doubt don't send it.

No probs - really take your time with those first few IQ control shots you have to send, as they really look hard at the lot. Remember they specify no sharpening, preferring the client to handle that depending on the image size they buy. It needs to be a good quality image to start with or I wouldn't even bother trying. You'll soon get into the swing of it, but be merciless and check all the images at 48mb. As far as I know there's no upper limit on file sizes.
