A Litle confused re ACR

Hi All,

I could do with a bit of advice re Adobe Camera Raw, have a windows 7 64bit PC, 2MB ram, loads Hard drive space, I'm using Photoshop CS5, with the ACr that came with it. I have a Canon 5DMKii and a 550D. I think that covers all the "Need to Knows".
My question is Can I upgrade to the latest Camera Raw, it seems to have a few new features I think I could make use of.
Is there any chance things could go horribly wrong? By that I mean could it "b****r Up" my personalised CS5 settings.

If this is a stupid question, sorry, just wish to make sure before I go and download the latest version.

You haven't said what version of ACR you are currently on.

It appears that CS5 will only support ACR up to 6.7 see here.

Hi, If you access the Adobe website and follow the links to Downloads for your edition of Photoshop it will tell you exactly was is and isn't compatible with whatever you're using. I've never known it to change any personal settings. Hope this helps.
