holla,

basically I have been looking at two very different cameras the
Contax T3
&
Canon 5D ii (with 50 lens)

I almost exclusively shoot film (but I am at uni so film processing is FREE). In the big bad world I know I will have to shoot digital at some point.
As for money, I was going to use the £300 for a deposit on the lovely jessops 10 month offer, or just buy the contax outright.

My quandary is weather to go with my heart - the contax
or my head - the canon.

Cheers :)

Use the film camera for a while, and then sell it and get the digital

This. The Contax will hold it's value better, and evidently you are in the best position at the moment to shoot film.

Both digital and film serve a purpose though, don't let anyone from either camp tell you otherwise :)

(From someone who shoots with both film and digital)
