Hi All,

Just joined the forum. I'm looking for a new camera bag and like the look of the Dakine Sequence bag with the Camera Block. Any one use this bag? If yes, how much room is there in the bag for other gear once the camera block is in? Is there space for a 13" Macbook as well as the camera block? I'm looking to use it as a general camera bag, but also as hand luggage when I travel.
Anyone reccommend the bag or have any cons with the bag?
Many thanks for any input,

I have indeed!

Luckily I also have a 13.3" Macbook and can confirm that it fits in the front shovel pocket. Although there is no protection there, so I keep it in a padded sleeve. You wouldn't be able to fit it in the main compartment with the camera block in there too. There is a bit of room at the top of the camera block for a rolled up fleece or something, but anything too big will restrict space in the top pocket. You can fit a fair amount of stuff in the side pockets too. However I think I would struggle to get all my back country gear in it along with the camera block, so I'm looking at an F-Stop Tilopa when/if the £/$ exchange rate gets better.

I've never had trouble taking it onto flights as hand luggage and it has stood up to 18 months fairly hard use and the only problem is a slightly sticky zipper.
