Why fairies are put on the top of Christmas trees
One morning Father Christmas woke up and got ready for that day. Unfortunately Mrs Father Christmas, known he wasn’t feeling too good, didn’t make him any breakfast. So instead he put on his big red coat and big red boots and stepped outside right into a deep snow drift. Consequently his feet and socks got soaking wet.
So he decided the best way to get to the toy factory was to go by sleigh. On rounding up the reindeer one had been a little ill and so there was one short to pull the sleigh. Only option was to walk the 3 miles to the toy factory
ON getting there when he went into the workroom all the gnomes and elves were on strike, so nothing was getting ready for delivery on Christmas evening.
In despair he trudged all the way back home to find the front door locked, Mrs had gone shopping so he had a long wait until she returned.
Eventually he got in and sat down in front of the log fire with a beer in his hand when there was a knock on the door.
Who the hell is that? He thought and got up and opened the door. There on the doorstep was a fairy with a christmas tree under her arm for him. Having had a bad day he told her where she could shove it.
