I've been on here a couple of months & forgot to introduce myself. I'm Jan, I'm from S Somerset near Taunton and although I've been around photography all my life it was only a couple of years ago that I changed my fully manual film SLR to a DSLR. My interests are landscape and wildlife. The former I often combine with walking, just to prove that cameras do work during the day, not just at sunrise/sunset.............. There are a number of good bird watching places around here but WWT Slimbridge is a favourite for seeing lots of birds up close and being able to study behaviour, not just take portraits. I have a number of specific locations on my landscape 'hit list' but I'm waiting till the winter when they're not crawling with grockles............... Favourite places Dartmoor and north west Scotland. I'm enjoying looking at and learning from other people's work here but so far I'm ashamed to say I've wimped out of putting anything of mine up for c'n'c.
