Im looking to buy a pop up background. I have posted an ad looking for a Pellier Noir or similar however i think it will be hard to find one of these. The other suggestions were a Lastolite 7x5 but i feel it is slightly smaller than i want. A perfect size for me would be around 8x6. Does anyone make one in velvet or anyone have other suggestions for me.
 
Cheers Mike, im looking to try and keep costs to around £200 so a 2nd hand one would be best. One sold on the forum a little while ago. Im not dead set on the Pellier one, i just need something in the region of 6x8 or7x8 in black velvet and a pop up...

I have been told the Pellier soaks up about 2 stops due to the velvet but what about other black backgrounds, is it similar to the velvet?? I like the ease of set up of the pop up and the crease free look but would like one that packs itself into a bag for me to save me the embarassment of messing about trying to get it back in its bag..:lol:

Lux S do a Supersoft Black in 2 x 2.7m, or 3x3m... and as they make them in house, will make any size up for you on request. The fabric is a heavy brush cotton, and is ready flameproofed.

However, these are not pop ups... you will need a background support of some kind, but you can get your choice of size
