I have recently upgraded my 400d to a new 7d. I have done a lot of motorsport photography in the past with the 400d and my usual routine was to set the auto focus to the centre point and put it in to AI Servo and obviously continuous shooting and then sort out the exposure settings as necessary.
I've not had much time to get used to the 7d and I'm off to brands hatch at the weekend, so I'm just wondering should I just stick to the same procedure or should I be taking advantage of any of the additional focusing modes on the 7d?
