7d mk2 video mode deactivating lcd and audio?

Hey all, I'm not sure of the best place to ask, here maybe?!... or point me in the right direction.

When shooting video with a Canon 7d mk2 is it possible to turn off the lcd display? And also deactivate recording of sound? I only need the video and want to maximise battery life and memory card space. Thanks guys and gals

Ok, I figured out disabling the sound so now I just want to disable the rear lcd screen. Any help?!

No idea myself but do want to know so i'll keep tabs

Pretty sure you can't turn it off in video mode, I never could on mine. In camera mode, you can, by pressing the info button, and once powered off, it remembers the last setting, or you'll need to press the info button to turn the screen back on.
