Yes
So, I’ve just had a 7D mk1 everytime I hold the shutter button the lcd goes off so I cant look on the screen at what my shutter speed is without looking through the view finder, when I press the button [Q] the screen comes on but then goes straight back off, just wondering if there’s a way to keep it on so I can see all my settings without having to keep pressing the Q button.

Because what I like to do is aim the camera towards what I’m gunna he photographing and looking at the back of the screen to see the shutter speeds.

many help would be great!
Thanks
Nick

I think you are describing the behaviour of a camera with a "live view" function?

It has been some years since I had a 7D MK1 so cannot recall whether it had such a function???

PS ........ doesn't it display such full shooting data (shutter speed aperture & iso) on the top plate LCD
