Hi,

I have recently purchased a set of 3 Haida 77mm Circular ND filters but they came in a long box with all three filters in. The main problem is they have a tendency to jump out of their respective positions and move around inside the holder. The holder also takes up too much room in my bag like that and I would prefer 3 individual holder. I am also scared of the filters scratching each other as they move around.

To give you an idea of the case I have here is a listing from ebay for them: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Haida-SLI...850260?hash=item4d359b4614:g:nMEAAOSwT6pVsK1Z

I prefer the Hoya screw type or the individual flip type cases rather than the triple case and I was wondering if anyone knew of somewhere I can buy the empty cases on their own. I have tried ebay, amazon, etc but not had much luck.

Thanks for the replies, I like the look of both solutions but am edging towards the b+w ones as they are a harder she'll which would protect the filters better. Shame they weren't a bit cheaper though but it's definitely given me something to look at.

I never thought of looking in some of the more Independent shops.

I've actually come up with a solution. I have found on ebay some really cheap, £1.92, 77mm UV filters that come in plastic filter boxes. It's cheaper to buy the filters and throw them away and keep the boxes than to buy just boxes on their own!

Or screw all the filters together and put the cheap eBay ones at the front and back for protection? A bit fiddly to unscrew every time but a nice compact package.
