The 600D with 18-55IS is around £590, but Canon are offering £50 cashback http://www.camerapricebuster.co.uk/prod2178.html
Is it the 90-300 (old lens) or 70-300 ?

Are the extra batteries Canon or aftermarket
What make are the cards

That advert doesn't state the make of the batteries or cards. It also states it's a 90-300.

I'll tell my friend to ask how many actuations are on it and what make the batteries and cards are

Yes ask the number of actuations as well as the batteries & cards.

If you forget about the 90-300 lens (not sure on the quality) what is on offer still does appear to be a reasonable buy (age, condition & actuations dependant)

Hopefully they're good cards as well ...
