60 Years Work

I read this article twice because I think someone has quoted the incorrect statistic.
The staff came up with the ‘Master Plan’ after spending the equivalent of 60 (almost) years of work! 175,000 hours!
That can’t be correct surely?

What he probably should have said is 175,000 manhours, but even so that sounds like rather a lot. Maybe the decimal point is in the wrong place?
