5d(mark 1) or 50d? HELP!

So, here's the situation...I can get a used 5d for not much more than a new 50d. I can't afford a 5d mark 2- its just out of the question at the mo, so no suggestions of such behaviour please!

I'm Planning on doing mainly wedding work with it, although my passion is landscape, wildlife and travel imagery.

I currently have a sigma 17-70dx lens which will not work on the full frame 5d so i will have an additional cost if i do go the full frame route (any suggestion on lens cost/choice for a full frame replacement for this!?)

So, what would you do? older 5d or new 50d?

5D every time for me, but that might just be me. The 50d may be the newer camera, but I just didn't see the point of upgrading from the ###d range to the ##d range. Full frame is a great choice for landscape especially, but at the end of the day it is personal preference.

if you are willing to invest in decent glass (i.e L series) then go for the 5D otherwise the 50D would be the wiser choice
