Yes been married all those years and hopefully a few more years to come. What attracts me to her still is the way she walks across the floor like a butterfly with hobnail boots on.

My other half "er indoors" has absolutely no interest in photography. So not worht the effort to try

Sorry, chaps, we're 11 months behind you with 50y 1m, and counting. (Both poorly with COVID presently, but it is on the wane, thankfully).

Why, because she still takes better photos than I do, and I'm still learning....... There, I've said it now!
 
49 years this week and she still thinks that I am lovely, should have gone to Specsavers.
Her phone pictures are getting better with a few tips on composition.
I stil get a great feeling when she smiles.
 
I would have been married forty five years this year, but thankfully, I managed to escape thirty two years ago. :ROFLMAO:

TY Sky. Guess I am one of the lucky ones . Beauty is more than skin deep . It is finding one that will be loyal through good and bad times, and we have had plenty of bad times believe me. What woman would stick with her man when they give up a secure job- move to another part of the country- take over a business with little experience and for 7 years it was touch and go if we made a success of it. Without her help we would not be in the comfortsable financial situation now. I could write a book on the "adventures" we went through, such as not having enough food for both of us at one stage for a couple of days true ,being forced to go on stike with no pay at one time with BT. Then at the other end of the scale having enough to go on several cruises and visit so many countries- holidays based in Brazil and USA for example. Yes marriage can be a bumpy ride for all concerned. It needs 110 per cent effort from both to make it work.

One thing that really annoys her is when I say "yes dear" when she is ready for an arguement, or agreeing with her so she has no one to battle with. I love winding her up


She gave me two fantastic sons and now 4 grandaughters. Maria the oldest below nearly 13 years old ( frame from video clip)

15 1/2 years here (crikey). We lived almost 400 miles apart but somehow, found each other. Not looked back once, even have a 12 year old daughter now. Funny how these things work out, we first met in a hobby related meeting in 2004.

I can't see us getting to the dizzy heights of 50 years of marriage as we married late in life, (I was 40 and my wife, 37) but you never know.

After 50+ years the pleasure of the physical part of the marriage has long gone, and now impossible some of the positions but OH BOY THOSE MEMORIES ;):ROFLMAO:

Our wedding anniversary was last Thursday - 49 years :argue:

I'm pretty sure that we have only made it this far because I spent so much time travelling for work :)

36 years as a couple and 16 married. We put it down to no kids!
