This week the challenge is...

LOVE

With it being Valentines Day when the competition ends, (a bit of inspiration from the wife disguised as a reminder to get her a card!) I have decided to go soppy this week with a Valentines related theme! :love:

Remember the competition is open to EVERYBODY and hopefully the theme is broad enough to allow something for everyone.

All the usual rules apply:

All entries must be new photos, taken within the time frame of the comp so please leave exif intact.

Maximum of 3 entries per person. Please post entries into this thread and, if you have two or three photos, please include them in the same post. You can change them up until competition close.

Limited PP, cropping, exposure control, sharpening etc is okay, multi layered cut and pasting is not.

-Images to be captured any time from now until the challenge closes
-Entries can be submitted in this thread from 20:00h on Tuesday 9th February (not before)
-The competition will be closed at 20:00h on Sunday 14th February and winners will be announced later that evening.

The winner has the honour and privilege of setting up and running the contest for the following week.

Sorry I'm a bit late, been out for a valentines meal!

Thanks to the girls for making the effort, it is a shame more people don't enter these little competitions, they are good for getting you thinking about what to shoot an would hopefully get some people moving out of their comfort zone and shooting different stuff.

I have chosen the winner and it is Nicky (n1kcy) with her second picture. Really love the composition and think the B&W works brilliantly.

2nd place (I prefer runner up) is Alison. A lovely picture, nice and sharp and really well framed.

Ok, I know this wasn't taken in the desired time frame but can I please be allowed to enter it? I'm cameraless at the minute as some of you know so I am stuck with pictures I have already taken as I can't take anymore.

If not just remove my post.
