50d + ex580ii sync speed if I have a wireless e-ttl slave in the mix too?

Hi - I know that my 50d + my ex580ii have a sync speed of 1/250. Is this still the same if i have the ex580 controlling a wireless slave in e-ttl model? The slave happens to be a Sigma DG500.

Yes.

It's only cheaper radio triggers that need a slighly longer sync speed, because the trigger's processors take a moment to work. I think that battery level also slows them down a bit more.

Using Yongnuo RF-602 triggers with my 40D, all was clear at 1/200sec, but it usually does no harm to go a bit longer just to be safe. Other triggers can be slower than that.

It's easy enough to see if you have a sync speed problem because you get a dark line at the bottom of the pic, which is the shutter curtain just beginning to close.
