50 Shades of Grey

No not the book I'm looking at getting a new Paper roll this week for a few shoots i have coming up, the shoot are mainly single person shoots and want a grey backdrop. But looking on WEX there are several different shades so i'm wondering what you guys use?

It doesn't really matter that much. Obviously the people who make a lot of different shades would like you to buy 10 of each, but they all do much the same job.

Get a fairly dark one, if you have a reasonable amount of lighting power that can be used on the background if required. If you don't, then get a lighter one. Any background of any shade can photograph as any shade of grey, or as white, or as black, depending on the lighting arrangement and distance.
