50-500 sigma

I've lent my sigma 50-500mm to someone else who specifically uses it for Motorsport and related in conjunction with a Nikon D3. Suffice to say I've never saw the lens in about six months as he absolutely loves it - he does motorcross to equestrian 3-4 days a week and in his words 'It's never missed a beat'.
 
whats the best lens to have we have a 100 400 l canon on one camara we need another one for the other camara thanks
