This week the challenge is...

Natural

Flora, fauna, people, buildings, still life, abstracts or any shot which conveys “natural” as you perceive it – whether that be cars, people, sky or water, concepts or any other interpretation of the theme that you'd like - whatever takes your fancy.

Remember the competition is open to EVERYBODY and hopefully the theme's broad enough to allow something for everyone.

All the usual rules apply:

All entries must be new photos, taken within the time frame of the comp so please leave exif intact.

Maximum of 3 entries per person.

Limited PP, cropping, exposure control, sharpening etc is okay, multi layered cut and pasting is not.

The winner chooses the theme for the following challenge.

Entries can be posted from 8pm on Thursday 10th December until 9pm on 13th December, with the winner announced later that evening.

Winner runs the competition for the following week.

Ok, I'll kick it off... very natural, and far older than virtually everything you'll find here...

Natural...This little fellow posed beautifully for me and then wandered off into the long grass. He did not seem phased by people at all but wasn't for giving me a second chance.

This was one of my crop of 3 apples from my organic old fashioned apple tree. It looked fantastic, natural shape, natural colours but then I tasted it and discovered why it was a long lost type.

Beauty in the eye of the beholder but not the mouth
OOOOps Just remembered the pix time frame and I am way out. Never mind the hedgehog was cute.

I need to get some pics taken I think lol

I was just think the same thing. Then I thought.....Nah, I'll leave it to the last minute as normal ;-)

The most natural things on the planet, water and rocks. Long exposure of the sea against some rocks on Seaton Carew Beach.

Well other than half an hour in the garden this morning, not much time for togging. But, I guess you cant get much more natural than a baby bird :)
A long tailed tit to be specific (not that I knew that until someone on this forum told me!)

Wow! I can't believe I won :) The blue moon was awesome! Really must try some of those long exposures on water pics like Robbo's too, another great shot.

Right, need now to think of a next weeks comp!
