This week the challenge is...

MOTION

Flora, fauna, people, buildings, still life, abstracts or any shot which conveys “motion” as you perceive it – whether that be cars, people, sky or water, concepts or any other interpretation of the theme that you'd like - whatever takes your fancy.

Remember the competition is open to EVERYBODY and hopefully the theme's broad enough to allow something for everyone.



All the usual rules apply:

All entries must be new photos, taken within the time frame of the comp so please leave exif intact.

Maximum of 3 entries per person.

Limited PP, cropping, exposure control, sharpening etc is okay, multi layered cut and pasting is not.

The winner chooses the theme for the following challenge.

Entries can be posted from 8pm on Thursday 3rd December until 9pm on 6th December, with the winner announced later that evening.

Winner runs the competition for the following week.

NOTE: personal prize to try bump up the amount of people/picture entered I will be give FIRST place, via post.......a CURLY WHIRLY!! :thumbs::lol:

Is it bad and wrong to get competitive over a Curlywurly (this is the correct spelling btw. Bought one earlier – purely for the purposes of research you understand ;) As it happens the chocolate element melted in my stocking tops but that’s a story, photo and complaint for another time) and Finger Of Fudge?

2 shots in the bag so far but I’m still not satisfied. The stakes are high and my heart is set on winning this one! I love my choccies and want 1st and 2nd place :nuts:

Sorry Robbo. Been a really manic week. I'm going to try to get something for this tomorrow. . . in between Christmas shopping; wrapping; sorting out some charity accounts; helping my father in law with his tax return; cleaning the house; getting my shot for my 52 . . . :( not looking very good is it?

Been busy too. I'm heading out shopping now, but I have something in mind for a shot later. Let's hope the shopping doesn't take too much time!

I'll give you another free bump. I didn't manage to take the photo, shopping went on longer than expected (that new westfields shopping centre in Shepards bush is unreal!)

Plan to take it tomorrow. It requires proper timing though, and hopefully no rain... weather forecasts are looking positive, just hope it's accurate

I have a plan for a photo today. I have the props ready just need to get the wife to wear them ooooops sorry wrong forum ;)

I will post a photo (if of course my idea actually works which with my skill level is 50/50! :))

My original idea got rubbished because it decided to rain out of the blue... anyway, I said I'd enter, so here's at least an effort :lol:

Oh dear, well I had to go to work at short notice this afternoon so I didnt have my playtime. However, not to be beaten I whipped up my plans for a water drop rig. Some xmas wrapping paper later and I have what I'd like to call....

Not too bad for 20 minutes work. Too late for the comp though but the finger of fudge still stands!

how long ish? I dont mind personally due to internet problems, long as no one else objects? or if im not braking the rules?

EDIT, I can only give to 9:30 as I feel any long might be unfair on the others, sorry I dont want to be nasty lol
