Thought i might be better getting one of these for the fireworks anybody recommend a good one :thumbs:
 
TC-80N3 - Bit pricey though. Does more than just the standard shutter release.

I have no idea on a wireless one.
 
Mine was an after market release from e-bay, £9.50 inc postage. Use it a lot. Duplicates shutter release plus lock for +30sec exposures..

I did not have much luck with the ebay ones they would only last a few weeks ( I tried 2 including the photix one) maybee I was unlucky but I ended up buying the Canon one

Just bought a Phottix from ebay. I read very nice comments about it.

The only issue is that it comes from Hong Kong... I don't really know if I will not have to pay some customs taxes... and of course it will take some time to get here.
 
I have two releases: a corded OEM release and an uncorded release from eBay. They both work great! If I were to have only one, I would choose the uncorded release but, at eBay prices, why not have both?
 
I bought one from Jessops at the weekend. Wasn't cheap, but it comes with an "extension" so you can use it at about 1m long, or 5m long, quite handy....
